Nearly thirty years of Greek tourism - and a 2027 relaunch
Go2Greece has been part of Greek tourism for the best part of thirty years. Here is the short version of how we got here - and where we are heading next.
It began with a single website, malia.co.uk - one of the very first online guides dedicated to a Greek resort.
Two more resorts joined the family: stalis.co.uk and hersonissos.co.uk.
Over the following decade the site - then known as GreeceMonkey - grew into one of the top five tourism websites in Greece.
We were running events in London to promote Greece, and Malia, Stalis and Hersonissos in particular. To take things more professional, GreeceMonkey.com became Go2Greece.com - and we acquired well over 400 domains: destination names and "go2" prefixed names such as go2corfu, go2crete and go2rhodes, all EU (.eu) domains.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we stepped away.
Go2Greece is relaunching - rebuilt from the ground up for a new generation of travellers.
